Norwegian Association of Art Societies has developed an exchange program between Norway and China with Norway-China Culture Exchange Center as a co-ordinator.

The main goals and purposes of the project is to promote cultural exchange and understanding between Norway and China, and to contribute to establish art societies throughout China.

The seminar “ArtEduChina in Norway 2007” is a part of this exchange program and is focusing on the development of Chinese Art.

The global demand for Chinese contemporary art has exploded the last two years. Collectors see it as a good investment, dovetailing the rise of China`s economy.

Everybody seems to be looking towards China these days, so does Norway. Norwegian Art Societies is happy to be a part of this venture.

Sami Rintala (arkitekt og professor II ved NTNU Trondheim) holder foredrag om ”Works and Methods” i tilknytning til utstillingen ”Norsk samtidsarkitektur 2000-2005”. Deretter holder Espen Johnsen (førsteamanuensis ved Universitetet i Oslo) foredrag om ”Nymodernistiske orienteringer i norsk arkitektur”.
