Mad Mats is the dude behind the reknown record label G.A.M.M. and
the Raw Fusion label and parties in Stockholm. With a DJ career
running for over 20 years, we know that this open-minded b-boy has
got some serious skills. With a remarkable and open-minded variation
he’s played everything from Retro Funk, Soul, Jazz & Latin sets at
Club Neo in Tokyo, soulful House at the Southport Weekender,
Hip-Hop at Turntables At The Hudson in NYC, Techno at Goa &
Weekend Club in Madrid, and Freestyle Sessions at the Electric Chair
in Manchester. Check this cat out if you can, it’s going to be epic!
Fredfades & Dirtyhans are two best friends from Oslo who are sharing
the same interest which is old records like ultra-rare Disco blaze,
supreme Modern Soul, rare Jazzfunk, Northern Soul, Lo-fi keyboard
driven Boogie, Brazilian records, European records – most of them
released between 1969 and 1983. They have played in loads of
venues in Oslo and also Someday Lounge (Portland, US).
Charlotte Bendiksen is one of the new super talented up and coming
DJs from Norway. She comes from Tromsø and is one of the founders
of the popular Insomnia Festival in her hometown. Since last year
Charlotte has been dividing her time between northern Norway and
Köln, where she’s already a regular in the cities underground clubs.
She plays dance music, body music with no genre limitations.
In the end it all comes back to classics, with a feeling of Disco.
Stockholm’s Richard Masip blew our heads away with such an
amazing collection of tropical disco nuggets last time he visited
Nomaden that we’re stoked to have him back again! His style is a
genre crossing attempt to bring out some of the best and most
danceable Afro, Latin and Caribbean sounds ever recorded from all
over the world, both old and new. He is also one of the guys from
acclaimed Sofrito crew who is behind some of the best edits to be
released the recent years. Needless to say we’re big fans of him at
Nomaden!
Strangefruit is a legendary mover and groover in the darker dancing
corners of Oslo. He has just come back from a concert trip to Tokyo
and Osaka with his band Mungolian Jetset playing alongside Todd-
Terje. Pål Strangefruit is no stranger to psychedelic dance grooves
ranging from old European Synth Disco to far out danceable Rock.
Or whatever he throws into the melting pot tonight..!
Rulefinn from Kristiansand is a first class provider
of good vibes and music, like 70s and 80s Soul and
Funk, Disco, Italo, Electronica, and new Soul productions
with records like Carl Carlton, The Whispers, Chromeo,
Azari & III and Tensnake. This cat knows how to throw a good
party! Rulefinn will also be involved in the brand new
Nomaden Sunday club concept.
Gabriel Reyes-Whittaker is the principal composer/ producer and
director of GIFTED & BLESSED. He is most widely known for his
work under the pseudonym GB. Having worked with a variety of
standout musicians and producers including King Britt, SA-RA Creative-
Partners, J’DaVeY, Steve Spacek, Baatin (Slum Village), Daz-I-Kue,
Wildchild (Lootpack) and many others, Gabriel offers an outstandingly
wide variety of sounds in his repertoire. In addition to his growing
catalog of recordings and compositions, Gabriel is also noted for his
film and television music services, which have been provided to major
TV networks, as well as to a variety of visual artists and independent
filmmakers. At Nomaden GB will mash together a deep and groovy
session as a laptop live/DJ set combo.

& NEO SOUL.
Bonar Bradberry’s wealth of experience as a DJ and producer. Hailing
from Leeds in the north end of England, Bonar has been involved in
some of the best labels and club nights the country has to offer,
Including the 20:20 vision record label and Under The Shade and one
of Leeds’ best parties of recent times, Asylum.
His collective, PBR Streetgang, has delivered a string of successful
productions and combined with his own DJing has taken him all over
the world including a monthly residency on the Terraza at We Love at
Space, Ibiza
God bless upmost the serious love these two gentlemen is spreading
during a night at Nomaden! Selecta Harmony and Dominic Reuben
traces the trails of the best Reggae, Lovers Rock and Dub.
Harmony grew up in Kingston, Jamaica and has lived in New York.
And in Oslo he teamed with Reuben from Kingston in England..

Don Martin is one of the guys behind ‘Gatas Parlament’ who recently
had a big radio hit with Til Ungdommen, featuring the superb vocals
of Supa Sayed. He’s also a top class DJ with an extensive record
collection with classic Hip-Hop, Soul and Funk.
Det er lenge siden sist Hele Fitta spilte på Nomaden. Litt for lenge siden, synes både han og vi. Derfor pakker han med seg både kubjeller, disco, house, italo og annen mer eller mindre søndagspreget dansemusikk for å sette fyr på kåken igjen. Det ryktes til og med om et lite minisett med utelukkende afrikansk musikk (fra afrobeat til kwaito, med hovedfokus på vest- og Sør-Afrika). Ta med brannslukningsapparatet!
Liverpool legend Robin Jackson is back with his block party beats
that we love at Nomaden. He will be joined by Doinit’s residence par
excellence DJ Tösch & DJ Baz. It’s also the farewell party for Tösch,
who’s going away on a record hunting mission to Argentina and Brasil
for 6 months. Parrrrtyyyy!
DJ Kent Horne is the man behind the club concept
RU*SK that had regular nights at the legendary Jazid
Club, Headon & finally at Blå with the common factor of
dirty, slammin’, jazzy & soulful music and a deep funkyfied
bass rumbling along. All genres set aside, at Nomaden,
Kent will blend that sticky Disco with an electronic approach for
happy groovers.
