Tradisjon tro holder Insititutt for Sosiologi og Samfunnsgeografi (ISS) og Institutt for Samfunnsforskning (ISF) minneforelesning og seminar til hyllest for Vilhelm Aubert, og iår er det selveste Giddens som tar turen. Følgende info er sakset fra ISS`hjemmesider:

“Anthony Giddens is a Fellow of King’s College Cambridge and Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics. He was Director of LSE from 1997 to 2003 and was made a member of the House of Lords in 2004. Lord Giddens has honorary degrees or comparable awards from 21 universities. Den studentdrevne Sosiologisk Filmklubb inviterer jevnlig ansatte på huset til å vise film. Skamløs som jeg er grep jeg sjansen begjærlig, og har dermed gleden av å vise folk denne ualminnelig flotte dokumentaren om Bourdieu. Og så skal jeg vel innlede om filmen også.
