18:00 Jan Rietsma will lecture on PROPERTY, CAPITALISM and SHARING, and how we can organize society differently to be better off. He proposes a movement towards sharing capital intensive objects, such as cars, cottages, boats or lap-tops, without changing property rights. He uses the metaphor of carbon atoms, and how the same atoms can take the form of diamonds or graffit, according to how they are placed in relation to one another. After the lecture (also presented at “The Woodstock of Political Thought”), there will be a discussion about the topic.

Jan Rietsma is well-known as theater director and as a performer, being one of the people introducing conceptual dance/movement on stage. He has been a book publisher in Netherlands and is now running an art residency in St Erme in France.
