Art in Public Spaces er en serie undersøkelser omkring kunst i offentlige rom. Prosjektet er en utforskning av kunstens karakter og presentasjon i offentlige rom, med tanke på tilgjengelighet, mobilitet, varighet og plassering.

Art in Public Spaces – Action I (Iceberg) består av tre aksjoner som finner sted lørdag 15. oktober.
1. Arbeider av fem studenter ved Kunstakademiet i Oslo seiles på en flåte nedover Akerselven.
2. Arbeidene er samlet i en transparent plastkube som utgjør utstillingen Iceberg. To dykkere plasserer Iceberg på havbunnen under skulpturen She Lies i Bjørvika.
3. Flåten seiler inn til Palekaia ved siden av operaen og et skilt som inviterer forbipasserende til å besøke den undersjøiske utstillingen monteres.
Flåten ankommer Bjørvika ca. klokken 14, og publikum er velkomne til å overvære Action I (Iceberg) fra bredden av Akerselven og kaifronten i Bjørvika.

Art in Public Spaces is a series of studies of art in the public sphere. The project is an investigation of what characterizes art in the public sphere and how it is presented concerning accessibility, mobility, duration and location.

Art in Public Spaces – Action I (Iceberg) consists of three different actions which will take place Saturday the 15th of October.
1. Works by five students at the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo will be sailed on a raft down Akerselven to Bjørvika. The works are sealed in a transparent plastic cube, which constitute the exhibition Iceberg.
2. Two divers will place iceberg on the seabed below the sculpture She Lies in Bjørvika.
3. The raft will sail to the quay next to the opera and an information plate, which invites the passer-by to visit the underwater exhibition, will be mounted.
The raft will arrive in Bjørvika at approximately 14 p.m. and the audience is welcome to witness Action I (Iceberg) from the shore of Akerselven and the quay at Bjørvika.
